During the warm seasons, it’s common to see people sit and chat at quaint cafes and sidewalk patios. If you love music, you should join your fellow residents in the Retro on Roscoe Festival. Other festivals here include a Halloween Parade, a Winterfest, a spring brunch, and more. For example, every August, people gather on Roscoe Street to listen to bands play retro music. This neighborhood even hosts a community yard sale for you to catch some bargains. In addition to all of these wonderful features and amenities, the area is also family-friendly. Fellger Park is an excellent place for families with small children. It has playground equipment, a spray pool, and a large grassy area. Furthermore, Roscoe Village is home to six great schools with Audubon Elementary School being a highly-acclaimed one due to its math enrichment and art technology programs. The community’s other schools include two elementary schools and three high schools.
